Sony Philippines continues to celebrate meaningful connections through music with its Listening Party series–an initiative designed to bring artists and fans together in one intimate setting. First launched in 2025, the series has already featured artists such as James Reid and Jason Marvin, giving audiences a closer look at the stories behind the songs. This time, the spotlight turned to new-generation PPOP Prince Jeremy G, who headlined the second installment held last November 27 at the Sony Centre Megamall, Cyberzone, SM Megamall.
A Night of Music and Emotion
The evening opened with refreshments and interactive games before Sony Philippines welcomed guests with a short message about its mission to create KANDO moments–experiences that spark joy, connection, and inspiration.
Opening with his smooth and soulful single “Addicted 2 U”, followed by crowd favorites “Why Me”, and “Parking Lot”, Jeremy showcased his evolving artistry and musical maturity.

“These tracks were inspired from the Y2K sounds that we used to listen to,” Jeremy shared. “They reflect my growth as an artist because I feel like myself as a songwriter and as a producer can be felt while listening to these songs. I feel like I was more authentic while writing and creating these songs.”
Performing in such an intimate venue allowed Jeremy to create a deeper connection with his audience–a moment that resonated strongly with Sony’s vision for the Listening Party. “It helps tremendously,” he said. “I love interacting and being in an intimate setup while performing my songs because it feels real and it feels more personal. And I always want to show people how music can bring us together, especially if it comes from a real place.”

Beyond the performance, Jeremy expressed his gratitude for being part of Sony’s Listening Party series, calling it both an honor and a motivation. “It means a lot to me,” he said. “Having the trust from Sony to be able to have this event and show my music makes me more inspired to do more with my growth as an artist–to reach more hearts with my music.”
As the night drew to a close, Jeremy left fans with buzzing excitement for what’s next. “They can expect some surprises,” he teased. “I’m always one for keeping people on their toes when it comes to my music. Sometimes ideas just come out of the blue and I even surprise myself–so hopefully the listeners feel the same.”
